The Prichard

For my Graduate thesis I worked with the University of Idaho’s Prichard Art Gallery to remodel unfinished education outreach classrooms which serve for many area children as the only source for art education.

A main goal of the project was simply making the space more hospitable and functional. Due to a lack of funding, prior to renovation the room shown below was a series of connected small storage spaces with some areas having dirt floor and not able to easily hold a class of 25 students.  The unfinished and divided spaces were opened up into one larger one and equipped with a sink and storage. Once funding was secured the remodel was completed in 2010.
